Repaying the ecosystem.

Here you can see how horse dung spawns a whole new small ecosystem. Mushrooms and sprouts of grass can be seen. The horse dung acts as nature’s fertilizer. In this way the horses of Rooisand Nature Reserve repay the ecosystem for the food it provides them.
